The Second Barbra Streisand Album is a music album by Barbra Streisand .

history

Only a few months after the release of her first album, Barbra Streisand went back to the recording studio for Columbia Records in June 1963 and again recorded 11 standards and musicals . The album was released in October 1963 and became even more successful than their first album. In the Billboard album charts , the album climbed to second place (the first album had reached 8th place as the highest position). Like the first album, this LP was awarded a gold record. At the Grammy Awards ceremony in 1964 , however, the awardees concentrated on their debut album and so this album, although better-selling, went empty-handed.
