The Third Album is a music album by Barbra Streisand .
history
Only one year after their first album The Barbra Streisand Album , their third studio album was released. The album was released in February 1964, a month before the premiere of the musical Funny Girl , in which Barbra Streisand was to play her first leading role and was able to celebrate her breakthrough as a Broadway actress . The album was again a sales success and reached the 5th place on the album charts. Barbra Streisand also received a gold record from the RIAA for this record .
