The Source was a German band from Hamburg .
The group is assigned to the genres grunge , rock and alternative . The band combines quiet, melancholy songs like On a Woman , grungy songs like Hey Mom and rock songs like Lonely Child on their album.
history
The Source was founded in March 2008 by Leroy Jönsson ( vocals , guitar ), Fabian Bratmann ( lead guitar ), Helge Böhmer ( bass ) and Marko Wagner ( drums ). The first studio recordings (Hey Mom, Sense of Shame and Child of Society) were produced in the LSD studio. Later on for the album Freak of Nature , the band went to the Vault Records studio. Since the end of 2011 Nando Schäfer has been the band's drummer.
