Theo Bruce

Theo Bruce ( Theodore William "Bill" Bruce ; born July 28, 1923 in Adelaide , † August 1, 2002 ) was an Australian long jumper .

At the 1948 Olympic Games in London, he won the silver medal with 7.555 m. He was also part of the Australian team in the 4 x 100 meter relay , which was eliminated in the preliminary run.

From 1947 to 1950 he was national champion four times in a row, the first time with his personal best of 7.59 m.
