Theo Croker (born July 18, 1985 in Leesburg, Florida ) is an American jazz trumpeter and singer.

Croker, a grandson of Doc Cheatham , graduated from Oberlin College and received a 2006 Presser Music Foundation Award scholarship for making his debut album, The Fundamentals , followed by In the Tradition (with Tootie Heath and Benny Powell , 2008). In 2013, Croker won the Marcus Belgrave Trumpet Competition ; In 2014 he released the album AfroPhysicist , produced by Dee Dee Bridgewater , followed by Star People Nation (Sony Music, 2019), which received a Grammy nomination in the category of contemporary instrumental music .
