Theo Frankenstein (born August 27, 1906 in Cologne , † after 1933) was a German track cyclist .

Theo Frankenstein was one of the most popular track cyclists in Germany from the late 1920s to the 1930s. In 1925 he won the Silver Eagle of Cologne race together with Jean Steingaß . In 1926 he was third in the German championship in the sprint of amateurs , then he became a professional and mainly competed in six days . He started at a total of 17, most of them together with his compatriot Paul Buschenhagen , with whom he took second place in 1928 in Cologne , 1929 in Stuttgart and in Leipzig. In 1928 he won the six-day race in Stuttgart with Piet van Kempen .
