Theo Stich
Theo Stich (born December 1, 1960 in Stans ) is a Swiss historian and director of documentary films .
Life
Theo Stich completed his school days in the canton of Basel-Landschaft . From 1980 to 1986 he studied history, German literature and philosophy at the University of Basel .
He then initially worked as an employee of the Archives for Contemporary History at the ETH Zurich . In 1988 he switched to Swiss television as an editor and director (until 1992).
Stich has been a freelance writer, director and producer of documentary films since 1996. From 1999 to 2002 he was the production manager for the oral history project Archimob . In 2004 he founded his own production company LUMENFILM GmbH.
