Location of the Theodor-Körner-Kaserne in Saxony

The Theodor-Körner-Kaserne in Leipzig-Gohlis was built around 1901 for the field artillery regiment 77 of the Saxon army and from 1903 called Planitzkaserne. As part of the reunification, the barracks were renamed after Theodor Körner in 1993 . In 2007 the barracks were given up by the German armed forces. The buildings, a listed building ensemble in Gohlis-Mitte , were converted into apartments.
