Theodor Dürrigl

Theodor Dürrigl (name also Slavic Teodor Dirigl ; born October 10, 1926 in Zagreb , Yugoslavia ) is a former Yugoslav rheumatologist .

Life

He studied at the Medical Faculty of the University of Zagreb from 1945 to 1953 . There he completed his specialization as a specialist in physical and rehabilitation medicine and received his doctorate in 1964, his habilitation took place in 1965. From 1956 to 1966 he worked as a doctor at the Clinic for Rheumatological Diseases in Zagreb, after which he was director of this clinic until 1991. In 1969 he became associate professor, in 1974 full professor of physical and rehabilitative medicine at the medical faculty of the University of Zagreb; In 1992 he retired.

Since 1986 he has been an associate member of the Yugoslav Academy of Sciences and Arts . Since 1980 he has been an honorary member of the German Society for Rheumatology .
