Theodor Eisele

Theodor Eisele (born December 14, 1867 in Backnang ; † December 1, 1917 ) was a German classical philologist and high school teacher .

Theodor Eisele studied at the University of Tübingen , where he received his doctorate in 1890 . He then worked as a tutor at the Evangelical Monastery in Tübingen. In 1901 he was made senior presidency at the Latin school in Urach , in 1905 a teacher at the grammar school in Eßlingen am Neckar , and from 1910 to 1913 he taught at the Karls grammar school in Stuttgart . From 1913 until his death he was rector of the grammar school in Eßlingen. He published on oriental cults, including in Wilhelm Heinrich Roscher's Detailed Lexicon of Greek and Roman Mythology .
