Theodor Esser

Theodor Esser (born August 6, 1899 in Dremmen , Heinsberg district , † January 5, 1977 ) was a German politician ( CDU ). From 1958 to 1966 he was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia .

Life

After graduating from primary school, Theodor Esser did an apprenticeship and then worked as a commercial clerk .

Esser joined the CDU in 1945. First, he was active in local politics, he was in January 1946 alderman , and was from January 1946 to January 1950 also mayor of Dremmen. In November 1948 he took over the post of mayor of the office of Oberbruch -Dremmen. In November 1946, Esser became a member of the district council and a member of the district committee of the Geilenkirchen-Heinsberg district . Between January 1957 and October 1961 he was deputy district administrator .

Esser was elected to the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament as a direct candidate for the CDU in constituency 4 (Geilenkirchen-Heinsberg) in the state elections in 1958 and 1962. He was an MP from July 21, 1958 to July 23, 1966.
