Theodor Haag

Theodor "Theo" Haag (born March 13, 1901 in Le Havre ; † August 27, 1956 ) was a German hockey player .

Theodor Haag from SC 1880 Frankfurt made his debut in the German national hockey team in 1925 . At the 1928 Olympic Games in Amsterdam he was the captain of the German team, played in all four games and scored a total of five goals. In the bronze medal match against the Belgian team, Haag scored all three goals for a 3-0 win. Theodor Haag played a total of 22 international matches from 1925 to 1933. He was also a two-time national rugby player. He ended his career in 1933 when training sessions had to be canceled because the SS and SA were doing physical training on the club's premises. Haag left the association, which in return made him an honorary member. After the Second World War , Haag moved to France.
