Theodor Müngersdorf
Theodor Rudolf Müngersdorf (born February 28, 1870 in Frankfurt am Main ; † December 1932 Berlin) was a German conductor and composer .
Live and act
Müngersdorf was initially engaged as a solo répétiteur at the theater in his hometown of Frankfurt am Main in the 1890s , before he became music and choir director ( court conductor ) at the Royal Theater in Cassel from around 1900 . After moving to Berlin around 1910/1911, he worked as a freelancer and also taught. Erich Peter , who later became General Music Director, was one of his students around 1920 .
