Theodor Radaković

Theodor Radaković (born November 4, 1895 in Graz , † January 10, 1938 in Vienna ) was an Austrian mathematician . He was a professor at the University of Graz .

He was the son of Michael Radaković and, after graduating from high school in 1913, studied at the State High School in Chernivtsi at the University of Berlin , interrupted by military service in the First World War. From 1918 he continued his studies in Graz and Bonn, where he received his doctorate under Hans Hahn in 1921 ( on singular integral equations and interpolation formulas ). Then he was at the University of Hamburg and later at the Technical University of Vienna , where he completed his habilitation and became a private lecturer. During this time Radaković occasionally took part in the meetings of the Vienna Circle . From 1934 he was an associate professor at the University of Graz.

Partly with Josef Lense , he wrote several mathematical articles for the Handbook of Physics by Geiger / Scheel.
