Theodor Rehtwisch (born December 24, 1864 in Oldenburg in Holstein , † October 18, 1912 in Berlin ) was a German writer. Rehtwisch's work consists mainly of biographies of German politicians (for example Friedrich the Great or Otto von Bismarck ) and the military (for example Dennewitz , Moltke or Gneisenau ) as well as books that describe important battles from the Seven Years' War and the Wars of Liberation from a German perspective , such as Example the Battle of Leuthen , the ((Völkerschlacht bei Leipzig)) and the Battle of Waterloo .
