Wilhelm Theodor von Renz
Wilhelm Theodor Renz , from 1874 by Renz , (born January 10, 1834 in Oberdischingen , † December 30, 1896 in Wildbad ) was a German physician and royal spa doctor in Wildbad .
Life
After studying and doing a doctorate at the University of Tübingen , Renz practiced as a general practitioner in his place of birth from 1858 , and later in Ehingen and Stuttgart. In 1867 he was appointed royal councilor and in 1868 as a spa doctor in Wildbad.
From 1868 until his death, Renz played a key role in the development of the local spa business.
In 1874 he was raised to the personal nobility by being awarded the Knight's Cross 1st Class of the Württemberg Order of the Crown . In 1878 he was elected a member of the Leopoldina .
