Theodore Melfi (2016)

Theodore "Ted" Melfi (born October 27, 1970 in Brooklyn , New York ) is an American film producer , screenwriter and film director .

Life

In 1998 Melfi produced his first film, Park Day . Melfi made his directorial and screenwriting debut in 1999 with the film drama Winding Roads . The film St. Vincent from 2014, directed the Director Melfi, was under the Golden Globe Awards 2015 as Best Picture nomination.

Hidden Figures - Unrecognized Heroines from the year 2016, as part of the Academy Awards 2017 as Best Picture nomination, Melfi itself for the adapted screenplay Best . Melfi had already receivednominations in this category for his workat the Satellite Awards in November 2016 and the Critics' Choice Movie Awards in December 2016 .

In 2017 he was accepted into the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences .
