Theresa Marie Cliff-Ryan (born June 19, 1978 in Cedar Springs , Michigan ) is an American inline skater and cyclist .

Theresa Cliff-Ryan was active as an inline speed skater for 25 years. Since 1995 she has won numerous medals at world championships , including 25 gold, and is considered one of the most successful inline speed skaters in the world. In 2005 she resigned from inline skating and turned to cycling.

In 2006, Cliff-Ryan was third at the US championships in points driving and in scratch . In 2007 she won the Tour of Somerville and was again third in the scratch at national track championships. In 2008 she won the overall ranking of the International Cycling Classic , national vice-champion in the criterion and third in the championship in scratch. In 2010 and 2011 she won the Tour of Somerville again and in 2011 also finished third in the Pan American Road Race Championships.

Theresa Cliff-Ryan has been married to Australian inline skater Gary Ryan since 2004 .
