Cecilia Baena Guyader (born October 10, 1986 in Cartagena , Colombia ) is a Colombian speed skater .
Career
Cecilia Baena started inline skating in Cartagena when she was only three years old . At the Junior World Championships 2003 in Barquisimeto she was the outstanding skater, she won 7 gold medals. In 2005 she could not take part in the World Championships because she did not qualify. In 2010 she won three gold medals at the Central American and Caribbean Games . Baena has been part of the EO-Skates World Team since 2012. On April 1st, she won the opening race of the German Inline Cup at the Berlin Half Marathon .
Outside of sport, she is committed to UNICEF .
La Chechi is the daughter of Eugenio Baena (sports journalist) and Ruth Guzmán Rojas. She has two siblings, Juan Carlos and Raquel Alicia and has been married to her long-time boyfriend, the French speed skater Yann Guyader , since July 15, 2011 .
