Theresia Enzensberger (* 1986 in Munich ) is a German author and journalist .

Life

Theresia Enzensberger is the daughter of Hans Magnus Enzensberger . She grew up in Munich and studied film and film studies at Bard College in New York before moving to Berlin in 2011 .

In 2014 she founded BLOCK magazine , which was named the best newcomer magazine of the year at the 2016 LeadAwards . In 2017 her first novel Blaupause was published by Carl Hanser Verlag about a student at the Weimar Bauhaus . The novel reached the Spiegel bestseller list and has been translated several times. As a freelance journalist, she writes for the Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung , for Die Zeit and for ZEIT Online, among others . She also writes columns for Monopol and FAZ Quarterly .
