Thijsje Oenema (born June 6, 1988 in Heerenveen ) is a Dutch speed skater who specializes in short distances .

Oenema made her World Cup debut in 2008. In the very first year she was able to take second place in the overall World Cup over 100 m. In 2010 she started at the Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver , where she finished 15th over 500 m. After a 10th place in the sprint four fight at the Sprint World Championships 2012 in Calgary , she just missed the bronze medal in 2013 and finished 4th in the sprint four fight in Salt Lake City . She achieved her greatest success so far with the bronze medal over 2 × 500 m at the individual distance World Championships 2012 in Heerenveen .
