Thilo Rothacker
Thilo Rothacker (* 1967 in Stuttgart ) is an illustrator , comic artist and graphic designer .
Life
After studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart with Heinz Edelmann , Rothacker moved to Paris in 1990 , where he worked for publishers such as Casterman and Edition Moderne as well as in the Atelier d'anim animation studio. In 1999 he returned to Stuttgart. His work appears regularly in newspapers and magazines such as the New York Times , SPIEGEL and the Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung .
Rothacker has been a professor of illustration at the Konstanz University of Applied Sciences since 2010 and is a member of the Art Directors Club for Germany.
