This Godless Endeavor (dt .: This godless company ) is the sixth music album of the American progressive / thrash metal band Nevermore . It was released on July 26, 2005 via Century Media .
Emergence
The album was recorded in the Backstage Recording Studio in Derbyshire . The album was produced by Andy Sneap . It was the first Nevermore album to be recorded outside of the United States. James Murphy played a guitar solo as a guest musician on The Holocaust of Thought .
The cover was designed by Hugh Syme. The layout and the booklet were designed by Stefan Wibbeke.

Sentient 6 deals with the topic of artificial intelligence . It's about a machine that wants to see its creator. When she realizes that this is not possible, she gets angry and wants to destroy her Creator. Medicated Nation criticizes the pharmaceutical industry, which produces drugs against all sorts of things and advertises them in a penetrating way on television .
The song A Future Uncertain has practically identical lyrics to the song World Unborn from the 1992 demo . The music, however, is completely different.
