Thom Kinberger

Thom Kinberger (born April 29, 1973 in Salzburg ) is chairman of the Salzburg GKK and an Austrian politician and musician.

Kinberger is works council and functionary in various Austrian trade unions, the group of social democratic trade unionists , executive chairman of the production union Salzburg and chamber councilor in the chamber for workers and employees Salzburg. In April 2019 he became chairman of the Salzburg regional health insurance fund. In essays, interviews and contributions, he deals with social and trade union policy topics (focus on collective agreements and integration) as well as with the development of Europe and the topic of integration.

Musically he is mainly active in the bands Our Survival Depends on Us and Soulsearch and his work revolves around the responsibility of the individual towards his environment and the abysses of modern civil society, war and natural mysticism.

He is a member of the Association of Social Democratic Freedom Fighters, a victim of fascism and active anti-fascists in Austria.
