Thomas A. Kruger

Thomas A. Krüger (* 1918 in Osnabrück ; † 1984 ) was a German painter and graphic artist.

Thomas Alfons Krüger lived from his work as a graphic designer. He learned from Wilhelm Renfordt between 1948 and 1950 . In 1952 and 1953 he learned from Otto Pankok . From 1954 he was a lecturer at the adult education center. From 1962 to 1966 he regularly attended Oskar Kokoschka's summer academy in Salzburg, which ultimately led to his later receiving the Salzburg Oskar Kokoschka Prize (but not the Oskar Kokoschka Prize of the State of Austria). Krüger exhibited his pictures in exhibitions in Rome, Paris, Bangkok, Sao Paulo, Salzburg and Haarlem.

From 1968 to 1978 he headed the Osnabrück regional district of the Federal Association of Visual Artists (BBK) founded by Fritz Szalinski and organized large exhibitions with the BBK. He shaped artists like Maria Feldkamp, ​​Erika Rußwinkel-Schulz, Reinhard Klink Ingrid Deventer and Elisabeth Ossendorf.
