Hasan Üçüncü (born November 16, 1980 in Sürmene , Trabzon ) is a Turkish football player .
Career
Hasan Üçüncü was born in 1980 in the small town of Sürmene and started playing club football in the youth of the Trabzonspor district team, which is known for its youth work . In 1998 he received a professional contract, but played two seasons exclusively for the reserve team. In the summer of 2000 he was loaned to third division club Akçaabat Sebatspor in order to offer him the opportunity to collect match practice in a professional league. In 2001 he returned to Trabzonspor and from then on was one of the regular players. In the summer of 2007 Ersun Yanal took over the coaching post at Trabzonspor and put Üçüncü on the list of players with whom he is not planning for the new season. Since Üçüncü found no club in the short term, he was relegated to reserve.
Finally he left Trabzonspor in spring 2009 and went to league rivals MKE Ankaragücü . After half a year, he played half a season each for Giresunspor and Çaykur Rizespor .
In summer 2010 he moved to Mersin İdman Yurdu . He finished the 2010/11 season with his team as champions of the 1st Lig and thus achieved direct promotion to the Süper Lig . He left Mersin in summer 2012.
For the 2013/14 season, Üçüncü hired at the second division club Orduspor . He left this club after one season.

Trivia
- Üçüncü has had a close friendship with the Guinean soccer player Ibrahima Yattara since they were together at Trabzonspor . Because of this friendship, when Yattara also had to choose a Turkish name because of the assumed Turkish nationality, he adopted the name İbrahim Üçüncü .
