Ibrahima Yattara (born June 3, 1980 in Kamsar , Guinea ) is a former Guinean football player .

Career

Ibrahima Yattara started his football career at San Garedi in Guinea. Before he moved to Royal Antwerp in Belgium in 2001 , he worked for Atletico Coleah in his home country. In Antwerp he played as a right winger, but could not convince. Özkan Sümer , the then President of Trabzonspor, brought İbrahima Yattara to Turkey in 2003 . His contract there was dated until 2012. At the end of September 2008 it was announced that Yattara was transferring to the Qatari champions Al-Sadd for a transfer fee of around 11.8 million euros . However, since Al-Sadd did not transfer the transfer fee, the change did not take place. In the summer of 2011 he moved to Al-Shabab in Saudi Arabia on a free transfer .

At his new club he did not find the environment he had hoped for and tried to return to Trabzonspor for the winter break . He also expressed this wish at the end of the season. After Trabzonspor refused, Yattara was associated with Bursaspor . This move was met with rejection from coach Ertuğrul Sağlam . Nevertheless, Yattara was invited to a medical check-up. Subsequently, the move to Bursaspor was announced by the press. This change failed, so Yattara signed a one-year contract with first division club Mersin İdman Yurdu one day after this check .

National team

Ibrahim Yattara is a national player for Guinea and took part in the 2006 African Cup of Nations in Egypt, where Guinea reached the quarter-finals.

On April 4, 2008, it was announced that Yattara had applied for Turkish nationality. For this he decided on the name İbrahim Yattara Üçüncü.

Private life

Yattara is married and has three children.
