Thomas Ahrens (actor)
Thomas Ahrens (born September 9, 1952 in Hanover ) is a German actor, author and theater director.
Life
After graduating from high school in 1970, Ahrens studied theology for three semesters in Göttingen and one semester of acting at the Hanover Drama School. To avoid military service , Ahrens moved to Berlin , where he studied acting for two more semesters at the University of the Arts . In 1975 he was engaged in the Berlin Grips Theater , to which he has been an actor, director and author ever since. His work at the Grips Theater was interrupted from 1980 to 1984 by a five-year stay in Iceland .
