Thomas Anshelm (* around 1470 in Baden-Baden ; † 1522 or 1524 in Haguenau ) was an important printer in the time of humanism .

Act

Anshelm printed works by Johannes Reuchlin and Heinrich Bebel in Strasbourg , Pforzheim , Tübingen and Haguenau, among others . In addition to his work at the University of Tübingen, Philipp Melanchthon was his proofreader from 1514 to 1516; his teacher Johannes Hiltebrant had previously been responsible for this from 1507 .

Anshelm was a colleague of Heinrich Gran .
