Thomas Böttche (born February 14, 1965 ) is a former German soccer player .
Career
Böttche played a total of 332 games for SV Meppen in the 2nd Bundesliga from 1987/88 to 1997/98 , scoring eleven goals.
In the list of record players in the 2nd Bundesliga, he is the fourth player of SV Meppen after Andreas Helmer (411 appearances), Carsten Marell (380) and Robert Thoben (359) in 14th place. After retiring from his career, Böttche was temporarily the coach of the association league club TuS Lingen 1910 e. V. and has been working as an independent businessman in Lingen (Ems) for several years .
