Thomas Bourchier (nobleman)
Thomas Bourchier († 1491 ) was an English nobleman .
Life
Thomas Bourchier was the fifth son of Henry Bourchier, 1st Earl of Essex and Isabel of Cambridge, a sister of Richard Plantagenet, 3rd Duke of York . Thomas was a first cousin of Edward IV and Richard III. and also related to the Plantagenet house through his grandmother Anne of Gloucester .
He fought for the House of York in the Wars of the Roses at the Battle of Northampton (1460), the Second Battle of St Albans (1461), Towton (1461) and 1471 at Barnet and Tewkesbury .
Thomas also served as Constable of Leeds Castle and Justice of Peace in Kent .
Thomas Bourchier died in October 1491.
Marriage and offspring
Thomas was first married to Isabelle Barre, daughter of Sir John Barre and widow of Humphrey Stafford, 1st Earl of Devon . The couple had two daughters:

- Isabel
Thomas was married to Anne Andrews in his second marriage. The marriage remained childless.
