Thomas Granville Brown (born February 2, 1885 in Halleck , † November 4, 1950 in Rawlins ) was an American sports marksman .

successes

Thomas Brown participated in the 1920 Olympic Games in Antwerp in five competitions. In the team competition with the army rifle in the standing position over 300 m, he won the silver medal together with Lawrence Nuesslein , Willis Lee , Carl Osburn and Lloyd Spooner . In the running stag discipline , he missed a top placement in both single and double shots. In the team competitions he was fourth in a double shot, while he won the bronze medal in a single shot together with Nuesslein, Lee, Osburn and Spooner.

Brown was initially a teacher in West Virginia before joining the US Army . During the 1920 Games he was First Lieutenant of the 41st Infantry .
