Thomas Burton Hanly

Thomas Burton Hanly (born June 9, 1812 in Nicholasville , Kentucky , † June 9, 1880 in Little Rock , Arkansas ) was an American lawyer and politician.

Career

Thomas Burton Hanly was born and raised in Kentucky and then moved to Arkansas. He has served in both the House of Representatives and the Arkansas Senate . During the Civil War he represented the 4th constituency of Arkansas in the first and second Confederate Congresses as a member of parliament between 1861 and 1865 . He was also a State Court judge . He died in Little Rock, Pulaski County in 1880 and was buried there in Maple Hill Cemetery .
