Thomas Deruda (born July 13, 1986 in Marseille ) is a French football player .

Career

Deruda played in the youth division of AS Cannes between 2000 and 2002 . In the summer of 2002 he came to the southern French in Marseille, where he remained uninterrupted until 2006. From the 2003/04 season he was part of the professional squad of OM . During the 2006/07 winter break, the club decided to loan the midfielder to Ligue 2 at FC Libourne-Saint-Seurin . For the coming season he was loaned to Amiens , where he also played for half a year. But instead of returning to Marseille in winter, the club managers decided on a third loan deal. The new employer for Deruda was FC Badalona in Segunda División B , the third highest Spanish league. For the 2008/09 season, the midfielder was given up to HSC Montpellier . A year later Deruda signed with AC Ajaccio . After he was no longer used there, he switched to the fourth-class Gazélec Ajaccio during the winter break . In September 2011 he moved to AC Arles-Avignon for a year .
