Thomas Eichfelder (* 1959 in Bamberg ) is a German organ builder .

Life

Thomas Eichfelder learned from Steinmeyer in 1978 and passed the master's examination in organ building in 1986. In 1988 he started his own business in his hometown and thus revived the Bamberg organ building tradition, which had been interrupted for 83 years. Eichfelder built over 50 organs with slide chests and also appeared extensively as a restorer.
