Thomas Franck (born February 24, 1971 in Heppenheim ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

The midfielder Frack began his Bundesliga career at SV Waldhof Mannheim . In 1988 he made his first of 123 appearances in the 1st Bundesliga. After two years in Mannheim, he moved to Borussia Dortmund and won two German championships . In the 1995/96 season he played only five missions and moved to 1. FC Kaiserslautern, who had been relegated to the second division . He was signed under coach Eckhard Krautzun , who was replaced by Otto Rehhagel shortly before the start of the season . Under Rehhagel he was not a regular player and was no longer used in the 1997/98 season. After he had been without a club for a year, he went to his youth club Waldhof Mannheim in 1999, where he was used once in the second division. At the end of his career, Franck moved to SV Darmstadt 98 in the Regionalliga Süd and made eight appearances in two years. He ended his career in the summer of 2002.
