Magician Thomas Fraps (2015)

Thomas Fraps (born June 28, 1967 in Munich ) is a German magician , author and inventor of tricks.

Life

After graduating from high school, Thomas Fraps first studied physics and graduated in 1994 with a diploma. Already during his studies he was intensively involved in the art of magic and decided to become a professional magician immediately after graduating. Together with his colleagues Gaston (magician) and Ben Profane, Fraps founded the Munich Magic Weeks in the same year , which has since been held once a year in the Munich Theater Theater ... and so on (formerly known as undertone ).

Together with six other colleagues (including Helge Thun and Pit Hartling ), Thomas Fraps formed the group Die Fertigen Finger in the mid-1990s , with which he appears worldwide.

Thomas Fraps often appears as the "wrong lecturer" at scientific conferences. He begins with a serious lecture, which he develops on the basis of his completed studies, in order to slip from the role of the scientist into the role of the magician.

From 2006 to 2007 he presented the weekly science program Faszination Wissen on Bavarian Radio .

He is a member of the Society for the Scientific Investigation of Parasciences of which he is a member of the Scientific Council.
