Thorsten Havener (born September 27, 1972 in Saarbrücken ) is a German author , speaker and mental artist.

Life and private life

After high school and community service, he completed a degree in applied linguistics at the Universities of Saarbrücken and Monterey (California) , where he graduated as a qualified translator for English and French .

He lives with his family near Munich .

Career

Thorsten Havener has been dealing with the topics of illusion, perception, body language and mental strategies since his early youth, which he combines in his publications, shows and lectures.

1986 Havener made his first public appearance as a magician. In 1995 Havener won the French championships in magic in the category magie générale . In 2001 he turned away from classic magic and dealt with mental strategies, perception, body language, suggestion and hypnosis.

After his own television show, The Mind Reader - a man sees everything ( Sat.1 ), Thorsten Havener was a guest on talk shows, radio and television programs, in which he performed experiments for viewers and moderators. With his stage shows What do you think , thoughts are duty-free and thinking and other fringe sports , the body language Code he toured through Germany. In the spring of 2013 his program I know what you think had its premiere in Munich, then he went on tour. Since December 2017 he has been touring with his show Fire Trials .

Havener continues to offer seminars and lectures in which he passes on his knowledge.

At Spiegel Online his book I know what you think came second and in the top ten of the annual bestseller charts. The book was published in various languages ​​and countries.

In total, his books sold more than a million copies in 16 languages.
