Michael Spitzbart (born September 30, 1957 in Düsseldorf ) is a German doctor , lecturer and author of medical guides .

Life

After studying medicine in the USA and at the universities of Aachen , Tübingen , Göttingen , Düsseldorf and Erlangen , he completed his training in urology at the Nuremberg Clinic after a long period of surgical activity . In 1991 he received his doctorate from the University of Erlangen with the thesis The knee-joint bypass with the ring-reinforced polytetrafluoroethylene prosthesis.

Spitzbart runs a private practice in Salzburg . He is married and has four kids.

criticism

The Correctiv research center accuses goatee of spreading false information about the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus . In an interview on YouTube channel Compact-TV , Spitzbart claimed that the virus could be killed by taking vitamin C , for which there is no scientific evidence. That is why he was referred to in the standard as a “doctor without shame line”. Goatee also belittles the coronavirus by falsely claiming it is just as dangerous as the flu.
