Ferdinand Hellmesberger
Ferdinand Hellmesberger (born January 24, 1863 in Vienna ; † March 15, 1940 there ) was a conductor , cellist and conductor .
He is the son of Josef Hellmesberger senior and brother of Josef Hellmesberger junior . From 1879 he was a member of the court orchestra and from 1883 also of the Hellmesberger Quartet . From 1902 to 1905 he was Kapellmeister at the Vienna Volksoper and from 1910 headed the spa orchestras in Abbazia , Baden , Karlsbad and Marienbad .
His grave is in the Hietzinger Friedhof (group 15, number 4 D).
