Jörg Löhr
Jörg Löhr (born June 18, 1961 in Berlin ) is a former German national handball player who has been a speaker , author and mental trainer since retiring .
Life
Löhr won the German youth handball championship in 1979 with TSV Göggingen Augsburg . He then moved to VfL Günzburg , with whom he made promotion to the handball Bundesliga in 1980 . In 1984 the circle descended with VfL, but managed to rise again in the following year. In 1986 he moved to TSV Milbertshofen , for which he played 61 Bundesliga games until 1990. With Milbertshofen he won the DHB Cup in 1990 and became German runner-up in the same year. In 1991 he went to SG Wallau / Massenheim , with which he won the German championship and the European Cup. In 1992 he returned to Günzburg.
He made his debut in the German national team on October 23, 1982 in Sindelfingen. He played 94 international matches in which he scored 134 goals.
Since 1995 he has performed under the company "Jörg Löhr Akademie" based in Augsburg and publishes his own books under the publisher's name "Edition Success Verlag".
At the beginning of May 2020, Bundesliga club Werder Bremen announced Löhr's commitment as a personality and mental trainer.
