Career

Horak in the ÖFB Cup game against Bad Sauerbrunn (2017)

Horak started his career at Floridsdorfer AC . In 2004 he switched to the youth team of First Vienna FC . From the 2006/07 season he played for the second team of Vienna. In June 2008 he made his debut for the first team of the Viennese in the Regionalliga when he was in the starting line-up on matchday 30 of the 2007/08 season against SKN St. Pölten and was replaced by Raphael Sulzer in the 75th minute . At the end of the season he finished fifth in the Regionalliga Ost with Vienna.

In the 2008/09 season he was able to become champions with the Viennese and thus move up to the second division . In the promotion season Horak completed three games in the Regionalliga, but remained without a goal. After promotion, he made his second-highest division debut in October 2009 when he came on as a substitute for Kai Schoppitsch on matchday 13 of the 2009/10 season against St. Pölten in the 88th minute . By the end of the season he completed three games in the second division in which he could not score. At the end of the season he finished next to last in the table with the Viennese, but since the SK Austria Kärnten had been refused the license, the club was able to hold the class without relegation.

For the 2010/11 season Horak moved to the regional division SV Schwechat . In October 2010 he was able to achieve his first two goals in the third-highest division in a 5-4 win against ASK Baumgarten . In his first season at Schwechat he made 19 appearances in the Regionalliga, in which he scored three goals. At the end of the season he finished 13th with the club in the Regionalliga Ost. In his second season, he played 25 games for Schwechat in the Regionalliga and scored one goal, in the table he finished twelfth with the club, one point ahead of the relegation ranks. In the 2012/13 season Horak completed 22 games in the regional league and scored one goal; with Schwechat he took 13th place.

After three seasons in Schwechat, he moved to league rivals SC Ritzing for the 2013/14 season . For the Burgenland, however, he only played a single game in the regional league. After half a year in Ritzing, he switched to the fifth-class Lower Austrian club ASK-BSC Bruck / Leitha during the winter break of that season . After three seasons with Bruck in the 2nd regional league, he was promoted to the national league as champions in 2016 . In the first season in the fourth-highest division he was able to become champion straight away with Bruck and move up to the regional league, pursuer SV Leobendorf failed because of the worse goal difference. In the promotion season 2016/17 he was used in 26 games in the national league and scored three goals. With Bruck he reached ninth place in the table in the first regional league season. Horak made twelve appearances in the regional league in the 2017/18 season, but remained without a goal. He also took part with Bruck in the ÖFB Cup that season , where after a first round win against SC Bad Sauerbrunn in the second round, they only failed in extra time at champions FC Red Bull Salzburg . Horak was on the pitch against Bad Sauerbrunn for the full time, but against Salzburg he was not in the squad.
