Thomas Imdahl (born July 8, 1970 in Hilden ) is a former ice hockey player .

Career

The striker Thomas Imdahl played as a youth for the Düsseldorfer EG and in 1985 became German champions with the school team . After his youth he moved to Duisburger SV in the 2nd Bundesliga . The Duisburg team had to stop playing after a few match days due to insolvency . Imdahl then moved to Herford EG in the third-class Oberliga Nord . In the following season 1992/93 Imdahl attracted attention with 26 goals this season and at the end of the season moved to the Cologne EC in the Bundesliga . With the Cologne team he reached the semifinals in the 1993/94 season , where the Haie failed at EC Hedos Munich .

In the summer of 1994, the German Ice Hockey League replaced the Bundesliga as the top division. Thomas Imdahl moved to Ratinger Löwen and a year later to league rivals Krefeld Pinguine . In 1996 Imdahl then moved to EV Duisburg in the second-class 1st League North and became runner-up behind EHC Neuwied with his team . After Imdahl was inactive in the 1997/98 season, he returned to Ratingen in the summer of 1998 and joined the Ice Aliens . After the 1999/2000 season , Thomas Imdahl ended his playing career.
