Thomas Konle

Thomas Konle (* 1970 in Ellwangen ) is a German show jumper .

Life

Already at the age of 18 Konle became European champion of the young riders with the team and was awarded the golden riding badge in the same year . He completed his training as a rider in his parents' company in Röhlingen, Baden-Württemberg . After graduating, he went to Warendorf for four years for DOKR , where he trained and worked under national coach Herbert Meyer . Then equestrian legend Paul Schockemöhle brought him to Mühlen . Thomas Konle was based in Neuler until November 2011 , from which time he worked in Elmshorn. Here he took over the job of the head of the show jumping stables of the Holsteiner Horse Breeding Association. At the beginning of 2015 he ended this job for health reasons.

Konle trains regularly with Manfred Kötter , who is considered one of the most successful trainers in Germany. Konle is also active in the world of tournaments in Baden-Württemberg and is the organizer of the Thomas-Konle Cup.

Thomas Konle is married and has three children. He is the brother of Hans-Peter Konle .
