Manfred Kötter

Manfred "Manni" Kötter (* in Bramsche ) is a former German show jumper and trainer.

Manfred Kötter was a trainer in Paul Schockemöhle's stable for many years . Kötter used to train the horses of Olympic champion Ludger Beerbaum . At the turn of the millennium he was the trainer of the mounted soldiers at the Bundeswehr sports school in Warendorf . In her youth he trained the show jumper Eva Bitter . Also Carsten-Otto Nagel and national coach Otto Becker and German coach Heiner Engemann trained with him. His current protégés include Franke Sloothaak , Ludger Beerbaum, Marco Kutscher , Holger Wulschner , Alois Pollmann-Schweckhorst , Thomas Konle , Patrick Döller , Andreas Kreutzer , Florian Meyer zu Hartum and many other well-known show jumpers. Manfred Kötter looked after and rode the jumping horses of the German team during the quarantine before the Olympics in Atlanta. The team he supervised won both individual gold and team gold.
