Thomas Kutschker

Thomas Kutschker (born September 16, 1963 in Mannheim ) is a German filmmaker , photographer and cameraman .

Life

Kutschker completed his training as a photographer at the Lette-Verein in Berlin from 1985 to 1987 . Since 1988 he has been working with video / film and photography. From 1993 to 1996 he studied as a postgraduate at the Art Academy for Media in Cologne. From 2000 to 2005 he taught at the Humboldt University in the Department of European Ethnology , from 2005 to 2011 at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf and since 2006 he has been giving seminars at the University of the Arts Berlin in the department "Visual Communication" / Basics of the Design of Moving Images. His best-known films are: I Just Wanted This Photo (1993), The Dark Lights (1996), The Vanishing Frontier (1999) and Shooting Locations (2009).
