Nadja Schildknecht
Nadja Schildknecht (born August 16, 1973 in Zurich ) is a Swiss entrepreneur .
After completing a commercial apprenticeship in 1991, she was an international model for years. Nadja Schildknecht won the face of the year modeling competition in 1993 . She then worked for the agencies Elite Models , Metropolitan Models , Wilhelmina Models and Boss Model Management, among others .
From 2002 to 2005 Schildknecht worked for MTV Switzerland as a presenter on the program Ahead , which was called 6-Pack from 2004 . In 2005 she founded together with Karl Spoerri and Antoine Monot the Spoundation Motion Picture , among other things, the Zurich Film Festival organized. She is the company's managing director. In 2007 she hosted the Swiss version of America's Next Top Model on 3+ . In April 2019 it was announced that Christian Junge would succeed Nadja Schildknecht and Karl Spoerri as artistic directors of the Zurich Film Festival in 2020 .
Today she is an entrepreneur, managing director, responsible for finance, marketing, sponsoring and event organization at the Zurich Film Festival.
Nadja Schildknecht is in a relationship with Urs Rohner , the couple has a son.
