Thomas Langbein (born January 31, 1967 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Thomas Langbein started his professional career at SG Wattenscheid 09 in the 2nd Bundesliga , but was only used four times in the first two years. In the first half of 1986/87 Langbein became a regular with the Wattenscheiders and rose with the team in 1990 in the Bundesliga . After the 1992/93 season Langbein moved to the upper division VfR Sölde for a year , then played for three years for Prussia Münster and two years for SpVgg Erkenschwick and Westfalia Herne .

Langbein worked as a trainer for various youth teams. In September 2010 he took over the coaching position at Dorstener A- Kreisligisten 1. SC BW Wulfen 1920 .
