The castle Suntheim even Sontheim called, is a former castle , later manor and today's country inn on the northeastern edge of the district Zepfenhan community Rottweil in the district of Rottweil in Baden-Wuerttemberg .

The knights of "Sontheim" (Suntheim), who were feudal men of the lords of Zimmer, were first mentioned in a document in 1281 with the sale of an estate to two citizens of Rottweil. Before 1516 the court came to the Reichsabtei Rottenmünster and after the secularization in 1803 it became a Württemberg state domain , which is later operated as "Sonthof" not only for agriculture but also as a restaurant and guesthouse, since 1943 in the possession of the Kiefer family.
