Thomas Legrain

Thomas Legrain (born January 22, 1981 in Belgium ) is a Belgian comic artist .

Life

Legrain was born in Belgium in 1981 . He was already drawing comics in his youth. While studying history and criminology , he continued his passion and was discovered by Jean-Claude Bartoll . Legrain published two series with Bartoll, Mortelle Riviera (by Glénat ) and L'Agence (by Casterman ). Legrain then switched to the Le Lombard publishing house . Legrain is working there with Benec on the Sisco series , some of which have now also appeared in Germany.

Legrain is a great-nephew of the cartoonist Jijé . In an interview, Legrain referred to the comic artists Philippe Francq and Youri Jigounov as role models for his realistic drawing style .
